2 1/4 cups biscuit mix2/3 cup half-and-half

1/3 pound shaved ham

mustard marmalade spread (recipe follows)

Asparagus and Cheese Strata

8 slices (about 1 ounce each) 7-grain whole wheat, or white bread, toasted

10 ounces, asparagus spears, cooked until tender-crisp (or spears from a 10 1/2-ounce can)

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 stick butter or margarine, melted

Directions:
